Experimenting with ideas reflecting off of the reading based on artist Varda Ciavano – interesting in developing an understanding of colour, line and shape (significant form) through process of discovery and spontaneous/gestural experimentation – interested in the reading’s idea of an illusionistic space based on “happy accidents” – something I have been experimenting with in advanced Drawing, as well (the aesthetics and limits of mark making)

Five Painting Project
Progress for painting 1 (different photo to be posted soon), 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5. Experimentation with mark making, searching, making my own hair brushes, experiencing energy, and quarreling. Interested in colliding forces, creating a visual poem, writing the poem, burning the poem, and using Yoko Ono’s cards to inform and transform the work.
