Painting #2 Jamie Dronyk

I used stand oil to get the gloss effect. It typically levels out the paints but my layers underneath are acrylic painted with a hog hair brush keeping the brush strokes evident.

This currently has 6 layers of mostly vertical strokes. I want it to have the look of feeling dragged down and heavy. My next step is to add gloss to contrast the matte
